Alan Cade, LPCA
Alan is an LPCA, a recent graduate from Texas A&M San Antonio, and under the supervision of Dr. Ray Wooten. As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, a veteran, and a creative, he understands the importance of finding a therapist who truly sees and affirms all parts of your identity.
Whether you are exploring identity, processing loss, or adjusting to a new phase of life, Alan strives to create a collaborative, affirming space where you can feel safe, seen, and supported. His form of therapy is driven and guided by you and your individual needs.
Alan is passionate about supporting LGBTQIA+ individuals and others from marginalized backgrounds as they navigate identity development, self-exploration, and the emotional impact of microaggressions, complex trauma, and relationship challenges. He also works with clients processing moral injuries tied to religious, spiritual, or political experiences, helping them rediscover empowerment, clarity, and self-worth.
In addition to this focus, Alan loves and has a deep appreciation for working with older adults. He supports clients in this stage of life as they navigate changing roles, independence, purpose, and the everyday challenges that come with aging. He also works with individuals who are grieving or facing significant life transitions with compassion and care.
